Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Foundation Mousse Review and Swatch

So, I have been hunting for a liquid foundation that works for me for a while. I have tried several BB and CC creams. I have also tried several true liquid foundations. However, my skin tends to itch from most liquid based foundations like these. I have nearly given up, but I decided to try Rimmel's New Liquid Mousse, mostly because Ulta had a coupon on the display. So, this foundation which normally costs $4.99 was $3.99, which was worth the risk. Honestly, I was hoping it would be a good primer for my powder, I never expected it to be amazing on its own.

I apply this foundation by dabbing small bits all over my face and then I use an E.L.F foundation brush (sometimes my fingers) to cover my full face. Last I use an powder brush to blend it out (I don't know where I got the powder brush I use, so I am linking one that I know is comparable is shape and quality). I generally put a light brush of the Rimmel Stay Matte powder on top with a Victoria Secret powder brush to help set the foundation.

This foundation feels just as natural as no make-up all day long. I usually apply it around 7:30am and I wear it until 7 or 8 at night, through all of that time my face stays covered, matte and comfortable. This is absolutely a full coverage foundation. Check out the before and after below to see what I mean.

Some foundations make my skin extra oily by the end of a day, but this one does not. Also this has not caused any breakouts, I will update if it does.

I think the only downside is that it can make your fingers a little dirty, but I mean really, I'm going to have that with any liquid. Also some of my powder foundations make a mess too, especially if I'm in a hurry.
